Nordic Noir in January
Crime fiction set in Scandinavia (or the Nordic countries), usually called Nordic Noir is a sub-genre of crime fiction. There are many styles in this genre and many authors, but the most popular books of the genre are known for their twisted plot lines and atmospheric narration that transports the readers into the cold confines of these countries.
It's a wildly popular genre and no wonder the winning selection for our January's theme. Here are some recommendations for the theme, crowdsourced from the ardent readers of the Book Hoarders Challenge group!
